COVID-19 Update

Please note that Powers Kerr & Rashidi, PLLC, is proactively trying to do our part to slow the spread of COVID-19 in our communities. To that end, we are temporarily working as a skeleton crew in the office, and will have a reduced number of team members physically present in the office each day until further notice. We will be working remotely when not in the office and will be as diligent as possible in responding to messages, but please understand that our reply times may be delayed slightly during this period of uncertainty. We are also able to check voicemails remotely, so if you happen to call the office and do not receive an answer, please leave a voice message (with your phone number) for the person you are trying to reach and we will do our best to return your call as soon as possible. Please note that we will not be having any in-person meetings at this time, but are happy to schedule a phone conference with you to discuss your case.

Further, as you may have heard recently on the news, many courthouses in our area are suspending all hearings, except for in cases of emergency, for at least the next 30 days. If you currently have a hearing scheduled before the end of April, it will most likely be reset, and we thus will be contacting you directly to discuss what this means for your particular case. As always, we will continue to negotiate and advocate on your behalf; we will just be unable to do so in a courtroom setting due to the current situation. We are still able to participate in mediations, however, and are encouraging everyone to do so remotely, either by conference or video conference.

We, like everyone else, are concerned about these unprecedented times and circumstances, but also know that they are temporary. We will continue to persevere. Please take care of yourself, your families, and the ones you love.
